Backed by its parent company the HKI Group, HKI China Land Limited entered into the real estate market in Beijing in 1995. Projects that have since been launched include Beijing International Friendship Garden, Cyber Tower, Beijing Fortune Plaza, Nan Xin Cang International Tower, and Bella Toscana. In 2002, HKI China Land Ltd. expanded into other Mainland cities. Projects under construction include Xi’an Fortune Plaza, Jiaozhouwan Fortune Plaza, Chongqing Fortune Plaza, Chongqing HKI Lake and Islands Town, and Wuyishan Tea Town. The total GFA of the buildings built and operated by the company is over 10 million square meters.
