Formula student teams from various universities gathered at the headquarters of the China Society of Automotive Engineers (China-SAE) in Beijing, the capital city of China, to participate in the highly anticipated press officer training event.
This training was split into two parts: the morning session featured professional technical guidance from the chief judge of the competitions and various media professionals, while the afternoon session was dedicated to experience sharing by distinguished press officers from different teams.

Mr. Wang Shengde, the Chief Judge of business presentation imparted valuable skills and insights to the attendees from different teams. He covered specific assessment criteria, competition objectives, and key points for logical solutions, providing deeper insights for the participants.
Mr. Zhu Ruolei from China Central Television explained the techniques for uncovering newsworthy elements in videos, crafting engaging narratives, and utilizing video content for effective brand promotion.


Mr. Gong Xiayi and Mr. Qu Yanjie from Autofan delved into the technical aspects of video editing and the tactics for effective social media management. Their discussion included the practical use of editing software, techniques for seamless scene transitions, and other insights that reveal the intricacies of video production.
Ms. Yang Shu from Yiche introduced content marketing strategies and social media operations to the attendees, with a deep dive into automotive-related content. She explained how to effectively communicate on social media platforms to create media content that resonates with the audience.

Under the insightful guidance of five distinguished speakers, the representatives from different FS teams enjoyed a fulfilling and enlightening first half of the training.
In the afternoon, press officers from Wuhan University of Technology, Shenzhen Technology University, and South China University of Technology shared their experiences participating in the FSCC, FSEC, and FSAC competitions. The day concluded with all participants visiting CICV, marking a successful end to the training event.
This press officer training session not only enhanced the participants’ understanding of Formula racing but also infused new vitality into its future development. We hope that all press officers will leverage their strengths to expand the influence of Formula Student competitions in China.
