VD2301Vehicle Dynamics Engineer (Suspension)
Job Description– Develops and optimizes the suspension system of a student-built race car to enhance handling, stability, and tire performance while meeting competition rules.
– Design components like wishbones, springs, and dampers using CAD software, simulate vehicle dynamics, and select lightweight materials to balance grip and weight.
– Working with teammates, they ensure the suspension integrates with aerodynamics and chassis design, tuning it for specific tracks based on testing and driver feedback.
Field of Study– Any discipline
– ME and AAE students are preferred
Requirements– Basic understanding to Solidworks
– Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
– In-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics principles.

VD2302Vehicle Dynamics Engineer (Tyre)
Job Description– Develops and optimizes the braking system for the student-built race car to ensure safety, performance, and compliance with competition rules.
– Design components like brake calipers, rotors, and pedals, selecting lightweight materials to minimize weight while ensuring reliable stopping power.
– Using simulations and test data, they analyze brake performance, heat dissipation, and pedal feel, tuning the system for balance and responsiveness.
Field of Study– Any discipline
– ME and AAE students are preferred
Requirements– Basic understanding to Solidworks
– Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
– In-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics principles.

VD2303Mechanic
Job Description– Responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing the race car to ensure it performs reliably during testing and competitions.
– Hands-on work to install and adjust components like the suspension, brakes, and engine, following engineering designs while troubleshooting issues
Field of Study– Any discipline
Requirements-Basic understanding of automotive systems
-Proficiency with tools and practical experience in assembling, disassembling, and troubleshooting mechanical components.
– Ability to collaborate with designers, engineers, and drivers to implement designs and adjust setups based on performance feedback.
