Chassis (CH)

CH2201Chassis Engineer
Job Description– Draw a tubular chassis that fulfilled FSAE regulations
– Run FEA simulations
– Draft a report to explain the chassis design philosophy and simulation results
– Communicate with other subteams to know their expectations and needs to mount their components on the chassis
– Draw mounts using Solidworks and do stress analysis simulations
– Do master assembly

Requirements– Basic Solidworks skills
– Knowledge on Ansys and 3D sketch in Solidworks is preferable

CH2202Safety System Engineer

Job Description– Using Optimum Lap and KISSsoft to design the gearset
– Design the gearbox and motor assembly to further improve compactness and packaging
Field of Study– ME/AAE is preferred
Requirements– KISSsoft is a bonus.
– Experience in Solidworks is compulsary
– Knowledge of stress and strain is a plus

PT2202Power Unit Engineer (Lubrication)
Job Description– Research and compare and contrast the use of grease and oil as lubrication for the gearbox.
Field of Study– ME/AAE is preferred
Requirements– Experience in research is a plus (know how to read papers and analyze them)

Job Description– Research and explore the functionalities of the existing softwares
– Improve workflows and validation of power unit designs

PT2204Cooling System Engineer
Job Description– Assist in the designing, sizing, and verification of the cooling design
– Perform CFD on the effectiveness of the radiator
– Cooperate with AR for the aerodynamic characterics of the car and the placement of the radiators
– Modelling of the cooling system
Field of Study– ME/AAE is preferred
Requirements– Knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics is a plus. Equations are not the most important, the sense and intuition are more important.
